Welcome to JamieFolsom.net
If you’ve found your way here, welcome.
This site is the home for my fiction, my books, and the dark world they belong to. I write psychological thrillers, supernatural suspense, and crime fiction shaped by memory, trauma, fear, and the things people carry long after the moment that changed them. I’ve always been drawn to stories that linger in the space between the visible and the hidden—the room that looks ordinary but feels wrong, the explanation that arrives too quickly, the memory that refuses to stay buried, and the truth that survives only in fragments until someone is willing to face it.
That is the kind of fiction I want to write.
The stories that interest me most are not only about what happens. They are about what remains. They are about the stain violence leaves behind, the lies families tell to survive, the damage people inherit without asking for it, and the way fear can move quietly from one generation to the next. I’m interested in the tension between what the world says happened and what the people closest to it know in their bones. I’m interested in the cost of silence, the shape of guilt, and the kind of darkness that is most terrifying precisely because it is human.
This site is where I’ll be sharing new releases, blog posts, updates on the books, and the larger world behind them. Some posts will be about the stories themselves. Some will be about the process of building a dark fiction universe book by book. Some will be reflections on writing, character, atmosphere, and the things that make certain stories stay with us long after the final page. And some will simply be a way of letting readers know what is coming next.
Right now, the latest featured novel is Bloodlines, a dark psychological thriller centered on family, inheritance, fear, and the kind of secret that does not stay buried just because people stop speaking about it. It is part of a larger series and a larger world I’m continuing to build, one shaped by dread, memory, violence, and the truths people try hardest not to name.
If that sounds like your kind of story, you’re in the right place.
Take a look around, visit the store, read the blog, and join the newsletter for updates on new books, future releases, and everything still taking shape behind the scenes.
This is only the beginning.
