About Jamie Folsom

Psychological crime fiction that cuts to the bone.

Cinderella the Wolf Dog

Cinderella, Writing Partner & Guardian of Secrets

Jamie Folsom writes fiction soaked in suspense, exploring the darkest corners of the human mind. With a background in criminal psychology and a love for gripping mystery, she creates stories where every shadow hides a secret, and every page dares you to turn the next.

Her debut short thriller, What the Dead Remember, introduced readers to the haunting world of Detective Avery Locke—a world that continues to grow darker and deeper with every installment.

Jamie was born and raised in Miles City, Montana. Her life has taken her across 13 countries, 12 major U.S. cities, and every state west of the Mississippi. She served in the military as an aircraft and shipboard firefighter, then moved to Los Angeles before settling in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and now San Antonio, Texas.

Her post-military career included everything from patrol officer to cook, nurse, and business owner. For 14 years, she cared for others as a nurse before running her own company for seven more. Now retired, she writes full time—blending everything she’s lived through into the fiction she creates.

After returning from Iraq with combat-related PTSD, Jamie turned to storytelling as survival — and to Cinderella, her black-and-white wolf dog, for everything else. She carried.
